On the way home on the bus

Hello, first, let me apologise for the infrequentness of this blog. As some of you might know, I'm a very busy person....... or rather, a lazy person.

Anyway, true to the title of this blog, let me get started with my first rant. Talking in actuarial today with LL, we stumbled across Bob Carr's "racist" comments [me thinks otherwise]. This lead to another discussion about race and schools. I hate school kids, especially high school kids, in fact, I hate juvenilles. Especially the ones who travel half way across town when there are fuckingly good local schools. How did I start to loathe school kids, well, I was once a school kid.

It all started when I had to pay for my bus fare home when all the other kids got on for free. Being the tight arse I am and somewhat a rebel, I metaphorically told them to shove their bus up their arse by choosing to walk to and from school everyday. I did this all through high school, to my local high school. Now, that is not the case anymore. We now have the situation where parents are sending their kids all the way across town, clogging up our public transport system.

I understand that many of you did not go to your local high school because you have some *special* talent, but stupid, mediocre kids feel that they too should clog up our public transport. Coming home from uni today, the bus home was full of fucking high school kids; who swore, stank and worse of all, were ugly! [I will comment for on this at a later date] Why am I so angry, because on my bus route, it goes past 4, possibly 5 high schools. But for some reason, they all choose to go to the one futherest away. [BTW, they got free public transport]

Now don't call me a racist because I know I am, but after years of observation, I can say [with 99.9% confidence] that kids of a particular ethinic background tend to all attend the same school. Whats up with that? First they can't speak english, then they compound the problem by all not speaking english. Its disgusting. And they get free public transport.

I think its about time that the state government introduces a policy that every stupid, mediocre and no-hope-for-the-future kid should attend their public school, like me, [this actually might make the public vs. private school debate worse for the gov.] or at least take away their free public transport entitlement. Schools should also become more tough on uniforms because those kids looked horrible!!!!! I felt dirty standing next to them. Whatever happened to school pride [though I can't speak for myself here]. Unless you are speical, walk to school!!!! Now that I've calmed down a bit, perhaps next time I'd have a more composed blog to post.
