on the way to work from lunch

I had my first business lunch on friday - it was at lavender blue at McMahon's (?) Point near Milson's Point and it was expensive, probably the most expensive lunch I've ever had that did not involve seafood. I had the steak which was of good quality, but was not anything special or unique and for the price, I had expected a whole lot more. Which was good because the company paid for lunch. But it was the occasion that really got me thinking - someone was leaving the company after nine years where she only managed to climb up the corporate to the unenviable position of supervisor, my supervisor. Where will I be after nine years? Well, I definitely hope I will be rich... On another note, I got seated at the end of the table where all managers ended up; is this a sign of things to come?

On another front, I've decided what I'm going to spend my fourth paycheque on and its in LV. I think I'm getting a new bag for work and study as I've just enrolled in the Securities Insititute course and need something to look good when I go to the lectures in the evening. So from now on, my name is going to have:

Tyarrhea Hilton B.Com (UNSW) SIA (Aff)

But do achieve that, I need to marry a Hilton. Another goal I need to add to my list.
