On the way to a lazy day of shopping

On the way to a lazy day of shopping

There are some things that you do every few minutes, such as checking your email whilst at work and spending another few minutes coming up with a pointless reply.

Apparently, every five minutes ago according to social anthropologists, guys think about sex money. For me, I do this every few seconds.
And then there are the things you do every day, such as brushing your teeth, brushing up on your international language skills and brushing the shag pile rug.

Weekly activities? Well, they include whipping out the Dyson, whipping out the pantry and getting a whipping from the super soft cow leather straps by the local dial-a-dominatrix.

And when it comes to the end of the month, it is time to remove the Egyptian cotton sheets and replace then with what else, but more Egyptian sheets.

Every year involves replacing the hordes of used underwear with crisp new ones, discarding old and unfashionable CDs and contemplation of a new LV wallet.

But every ten years or so involves a major change. This happened to me recently and the last time it happened, concepts such as the internet, Hermes, David Jones, air travel, money in the bank account and even EFTPOS were all foreign. Petrol was below sixty cents, milk was under two dollars and Louis Vuitton hasn't even arrived in Australia yet.

After ten arduous years, I finally bought a new pair of sport shoes. And it was one of the harder decisions I had to make this year.
