on the way to buy some sunday lunch

Well, what an amazing week! I managed to take 2 half days off work without denting my coveted annual leave and sick leave - quite a feat if you ask me. And its not like I took those half days off and did something superficial - like having an extended lunch on the parks, going to DFS and LV and just strolling around the city *actually, I did do those things - opps* but, they were taken for a special and quite expensive event - my graudation, which was quite a solemn event. I guess the uni places a lot of emphasis on the ceremony, so much so that I am starting to believe that this single event is the reason UNSW has not sunk into the red and did not raise fees by the full 25%. Anyway, the graduation was fun, short and quite depressing, because the whole event brought back memories of being crammed into too small lecture halls, talking with the people around you and laughing at those whose posture and stride ensured they trip and fell on their way to receiving the testamur. How I miss uni.

You can view some photos here at Yahoo Photos.

On another note, my chinese school classes finished for the semester and I'm quite proud of myself because upon entering a chinese restaurant the other night, I could read some of the menu items. Anyway, not much else say about this point.

And speaking of spending money *i know I haven't said anything yet, but i'm thinking about it*, i found some really nice shoes. The leather was soft and supple and they were extremely comfortable. But I can't afford $700 prada shoes on welfare, they just don't pay enough. Yeah, I've got affluenza again - I can't seem to shake it off. This time, I think its gettng worse because at this precise moment, I'm thinking of what colour virgin credit card to get FYI i'm leaning towards the red one!

anyway, enjoy the photos and leave comments so i know people read this

take care and enjoy life because it won't last, just like my welfare payments which will stop in 2 weeks *sniff sniff*
